Portraits of Souls

            The portrait is nothing but a pretty image, if the painter cannot capture the human spirit. Each of my paintings is more than the end result; it is a spiritual experience connecting my model, the material, and myself.

            I strive to approach each portrait differently, capturing the individual expression and essence of each subject, as well as imbuing each canvas my own experiences and philosophy of the beauty and intensity of life.
